Hello! My name is Mrs. Warnock
That's how I usually start my "All About Me" letters that I write to my families at the beginning of the school year and I figured, why not use the same intro for my brand new blog! If you found this blog by chance, I hope that you find reading what I have to say either interesting, knowledgable, relatable and maybe even insightful. According to my ingenious blog title, I am married and my husband & I celebrated our two year anniversary in June of 2020 and we have a beautiful one year old daughter. I am a preschool teacher who works at a Catholic School, but whether you're Catholic or not, us preschool teachers have to stick together! As for the mermaid part, I don't technically have fins, but I do have salt water in my veins.

Why did I create this blog? I am currently a graduate student at Saint Leo University and I was challenged this term to consider a professional wondering/question. It led me to think about how passionate I am about early childhood education which is what I teach. I just thrive on wanting to learn more about how I can be an effective teacher and also on how I can share my knowledge and passion for early childhood with others. I'd also love to connect with other mommies, whether you're a new mom like me or a seasoned pro!

I hope I didn't bore you too much and that you stick around. I'd love to get to know you as I share my life as a wife, mom, teacher and mermaid.
